The 3 Counties Energy Agency (3CEA) is a non-profit, independent energy agency supporting counties Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford and committed to working with all energy users. The Carlow Kilkenny Energy Agency was originally established in 2002 as a partnership between Carlow and Kilkenny local Authorities and their development companies. In 2016, Wexford County Council joined the partnership and we've rebranded as 3 Counties Energy Agency in January 2018. Adding Wexford to the partnership builds on the successes already achieved by the award-winning CKEA over the past 15 years in delivering €14.3 million in avoided energy consumption since 2013 for the South-East region. As an independent agency, 3CEA has been at the forefront of driving energy efficiency for many years. Our team has extensive knowledge and experience in energy management, integration of renewable energies, feasibility studies, training and public consultation as well as other services across all sectors.
